Sheeeit, also known as Tyrone, is a meme that is used in MS Paint templates, similar to Rage Comics, that often portrays a caricatured, stereotypical African-American male saying a lengthened version of the word "shit" that is usually written as ''Sheeeit'', a pre-existing catchphrase. The image primarily appears in various webcomics on 4chan and subreddits like /r/SheeeitComics where the character is depicted in various racist stereotypes.
The phrase originated as Sheeeeee-it, a distinct catchphrase of actor Isiah Whitlock, Jr., who would use it most prominently on the TV series The Wire. Whitlock is African-American, and The Wire's majority-black cast gave the catchphrase an association with African-American culture.
The original post depicting the character Tyrone saying "Sheeeit" is unknown despite many attributing its creation to 4chan's /pol/ board, but the oldest example still online was posted on October 22nd, 2012, by MemeCenter user sun. The MS Paint comic depicting the character in the last frame of a four-panel comic received 30 likes in eight years (seen below).
